... me was a surprise appearance from Keb Mo. I love his music and am a total fan. He sounds like an old guy with a gravelly voice and plays the blues. I remember seeing him on YouTube performing years ago and was shocked that he was such a young bloke. Anyways - I loved hearing him sing with the banjo and it made my night! Good food, good wine, good music and of course - great company! Something really funny happened at the end of the gig in that I was standing by the door ...

It was rather odd, I felt like I met the Scottish contingent of ...

... hoping it would clear but instead the rain set in. It only got heavier, the walk down took forever, desperately trying to keep the iPhones dry. Took 45 minutes to get down in torrential rain, we were completely soaked through. We're supposed to visit a waterfall that you can slide down further along the blue ridge parkway but spirits severely dampened we screwed that and drove 4 hours on to Nashville in Tennessee, home of country music. We aren't fans ...

... and I stopped at the Frist Center for Visual Arts and saw an exhibit on Animation (Sam had seen it when we left him on broadway so he just walked around downtown some more). About an hour later we decided to head out to Louisville. After every city we stayed at, Nashville had a big enough impact on me that I told the boys that it was one of the few places I could see myself living later in life. But that is a discussion for another day. Louisville, here we come.
