This entry is only to keep my map current. We came across the eastern part of North Dakota, past Fargo and into Minnesota where we stayed at a great city park for the night. All grass and, with ************e there, peaceful.

I went for a run in the morning and then we headed across Minnesota towards Duluth...past ALL those lakes in Minnesota! So many of them.

After we arrived back at the camper storms began to roll in. In checking local TV the Fargo area had tornado warnings and sightings, hail, lots of wind and some terrible weather right in the place we had been. Once again we got away at the right time. Ignorance is bliss!!

It was all around us. A tragic day. She also told us anecdotal stories from her family. She was a real character and had had an interesting life. Her niece arrived to tell her that she had just had word that she had passed her nursing.

She told us that the tribe did not want a ...

... them to dry in the camper. By then we were all hungry, so we decided to walk the half-mile (according to the motel clerk) to Rene’s Drive-in where the food was supposed to be really good. About a mile up the road, we decided we would never be able to walk back – assuming we found the place at all – so Dave walked back to get the truck. Rodney looked up the drive-in on his phone, and it was another half-mile or more away, across the ...
