    This entry is only to keep my map current. We came across the eastern part of North Dakota, past Fargo and into Minnesota where we stayed at a great city park for the night. All grass and, with ************e there, peaceful.

    I went for a run in the morning and then we headed across Minnesota towards Duluth...past ALL those lakes in Minnesota! So many of them.

    ... me of the metal palmetto trees in Columbia! Several buildings had interesting architecture. It was a very interesting city and we enjoyed touring.

    After we arrived back at the camper storms began to roll in. In checking local TV the Fargo area had tornado warnings and sightings, hail, lots of wind and some terrible weather right in the place we had been. Once again we got away at the right time. Ignorance is bliss!!

    ... whom many were massacred at Wounded Knee - men, women and children. Kathy told us what happened and showed us information about the sit. She showed us where it all happened. It was all around us. A tragic day. She also told us anecdotal stories from her family. She was a real character and had had an interesting life.
