Saying goodbye + the never ending layover in Miami

After an emotional farewell, I left the atlanta runway, lovingly cradling a big black book I had been given as a going away gift. I had left America after living there for one year and the book was full of messages from friends (and adopted family) wishing me well. As expected I sniffled my way through each message (listening to Keane's somewhere only we know only worsened melancholy). But the flight will be non-dramatic other that the almost deafening ...

... none wanted to give up space to a motor home. So, we did what we usually do and drove about mile away and found an oversized street parking spot for $8. Bonus.

Walking through the Olympic Park we discovered that the special event was “Praise in the Park”. Gospel music and preaching. Lively Baptists every where! It was quite a crowd and made for great people watching. Barb and I were impressed with the Olympic ...

The person with way too much luggage 10. The person with the tiniest rolling luggage ( how do you even fit your stuff inside there?) 11. The asian girl who is on her first trip to America ...
