... while, Sammi showed up and offered to jump start his car, which worked great. After he got on his way, we headed inside and talked to Sammi for a bit which ended up being an hour and a half. We just got into the more complex details of Restart and how she came to work there. We awoke to a freshly baked quiche and pancakes in which we stuck in a birthday candle for Tiffani :) we headed out to Restart where we began with the donation rooms, this time with the men's donation room. They were basically like pulled pork in square form except better. There was literally no sauce needed for anything here but the regular BBQ sauce gave the meat a sweeter taste that sat easy on the palate and went down smoothly. The spicy sauce was the same except for a slight kick that began about halfway ...

Menu Item: Ribs & Brisket Plate with Spicy Slaw

Notes: Today was one of the first days after they changed their name from Oklahoma Joe's to Joe's Kansas City

Comments: Best ribs I've ever eaten. They had a unique taste unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The dry rub on them was perfect. The meat just fell off the bone and was extremely tender. The tender, medium cut brisket had an initial smoky bite to it ...
