I woke up around 8 to get washing done and to finish packing the box of stuff to send home.

Gail's cousin, Regina, arrived around 10:30 to take me to lunch. She is a hoot. We had a lot of laughs.

We first went to the Harley shop so I could get a hat pin and then we went to Rueben's Hole In The Wall diner for lunch. We both had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburgers are fairly big so ...

... an amazing view. The smell around there wasn't so amazing though. We looked over the side of the cliff and a dead deer was starting to decompose. We assume it had been hit by a car.

I was to meet some more of their friends, ...

    Had another sleep in today.

Got up and washed my clothes from the weekend and cleaned the bathroom as it was a bit grubby.

While I was waiting for the washing, I checked the blog and I was able to put up pics.

Maria drove us to Gail's Mum's house for lunch. We had chicken 'n' dumplings with 2 kinds of beans, creamed corn and biscuits. Its a constant feast with this family. You will ...

Everyone was up by about 8:30 and cooking a huge breakfast. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, homegrown tomatoes, biscuits and milk gravy. Biscuits are not like ours. They call them cookies. Their biscuits are kind of like a savoury scone. The milk gravy is made out of the fat of the bacon and flour and milk. Sounds pretty awful but its actually really good. Brilliant for soaking up the previous nights alcohol .. ...
