    ... the iconic glowing Disneyland castle as Tinkerbell danced in the sky, mesmerizing the crowd. The show was a fireworks story, traveling through various rides at Disneyland and depicting that experience in fireworks form in front, to the side and even behind us - it really had to be seen to be believed.     ... Took about an hour to get there and dumped Mumsie and Jasmin and the luggage at the Air New Zealand checkin and then topped the car up with fuel and returned it to Dollar Rentals! A quick calculation revealed we had covered nearly 12,000 kilometres and used just over $1,000 of fuel! The Dodge suited our purposes very well, was pretty economical and gave no problems whatsoever - thank goodness! Greg and I caught the shuttle back to departures and changed ...

    Today was a strange kind of day, we are moving from the Sheraton in Universal City to The Hacienda Hotel (where we are picked up to tart out Grand Canyon/Las Vegas tour!). Now as the tour starts in Hollywood I (wrongly) assumed the Hacienda was IN Hollywood!! WRONG!!
