    ... which continued sporadically the rest of the afternoon. Later in the afternoon Gary, Larry and I headed out for a bit to see some local sights. We visited Trump National Golf Club, drove by Wayfarers Chapel where Gary and Kelly were married in 1975 and then stopped at Trader Joes for a few groceries.     ... two years ago, was a friend of our families and goes back a long way...way back t 1966 in Minneapolis, MN. He worked at Ambassador College.

    Then we went up to see Ted and Kim Budge in Pasadena. We have not seen them in almost 19 years since we lived in Arcadia. Together we went to see the floats from the Rose Parade that are parked at Victory Park near Pasadena High School.

    Great day! Drove back to the Seiglie's in Anaheim.

    People we had spoken to who have been to Hollywood could only tell us negative things, but we decided to go there with an open mind to make our own opinion... It was awful.
