... we didn't get to do or see so a great excuse to go back ! You can drive up pikes peak it takes hour and half -wouldn't personally due to how spaced out i felt ! they do a race every year to see how fast it can be done - last year it was 8minutes 11 - I can't remember how many hair pin bends there is - over a hundred I think - they did 200 on the straights and 80 going side ways on the bends. There have been accidents - one car ended up in the trees ...

I made it to Greg and Mary's in Fort Collins without too much rush hour traffic.Was entertained for several hours by 9 month old Clara - cute and smart.
Made a dash down to Colorado Springs with rush hour traffic, construction, an accident (not me) and rain. Not exactly a good time.

... in a wood shop 'just to look’. We walked around the figurines and then veered to a separate room where our world was instantly changed: there were a dozen (?) different brownstone street scenes from the 1915-1925 era, complete with children playing on the corner, the telephone repairman climbing a pole, Hurdy-gurdy man with his monkey entertaining and piano players who could be seen in some windows playing for guests. It was a truly amazing vision.
