    ... to close 20 minutes early as it was quiet when we arrived. She gave us the royal tour and stayed after closing time. The 2nd floor was an apartment for the world famous composer Dvorak, who spent a summer there. He couldnt get back home from NYC and someone suggested he go to Spillville which was all Czech.

    ... Iowa. Literally every truck on the planet was here. It's vast inside also. Sleep on the bus was impossible as they keep opening the side of the bus and hoisting wheelchair passenger and luggage in and out. Oh, and every nutbar not presently incarcerated in the world was on the bus. We changed buses at Des Moines Iowa at 5am for the last couple of hours leg to Mason City. Arrived 8ish. Raining. ...

    ... architecture, one of which is a hotel in downtown that was fully refurbished about 3 years ago. What a beautiful building!!

    Tomorrow is one of their big community events, the North Iowa Band Festival parade through downtown. Sheryl and I are hoping to be up early enough to get curbside seats.
