It's been a while since my last blog post, we've been so busy here I've barely had time to call home. I've been living on the farm since I last updated you all, still having an incredible time and learning new things every day. There's been a huge increase in the number of WWOOFers here, now sitting at about 12 or so. The extra numbers bring a completely different feel to the place. ... back in to Nelson for the Farmer's market and another look around, then back to the farm for more food and yoga. It's all very relaxing and I'm learning so much.
Today another worker showed up, bringing the total to 6. There are a couple more starting later on in the week.
I'm about to head back to the communal area for a dinner of whole salmon and freshly picked sweet potato, with peach cobbler for desert. Not too shabby.

With a total population of over 9,000 people, this bump up of students coming from across BC and Western Canada adds some more colour to the town and its activities. ... the 6 for Nelson. Nelson boasts over 350 heritage buildings, some dating from the late 1800's. A very cute town for sure, oddly awash with hippies (or some cross between hippies and yuppies because real estate doesn't come cheap in Nelson).
