... day with no rain, temp has dropped as a result but it's nice to see the sun, will be just my luck that it snows. Yup you guessed it but only enough to make a little snow ball. Went for a drive whilst the sun was out. Found a brewery! Great beer and they sell 1 litre of beer per person in town per week ( men women and children included). Apparently they have difficulty keeping up production. And it's too F..ing cold to drink ...
... got to Castlegar, hoping to find an open RV park. My GPS in fact told me to make a left hand turn over a cliff about 5 minutes before I found the one I wanted, and figuring the GPS had misled me, I was sure I'd have to go over one more pass to Christina Lake for the night. But fortunately I noticed the sign RV park sign a bit further along and was a done with mountain passes for the day.

and check out some other bars in the area. We came across one with
live music playing. We went in and it was half full. We didn't
care...we were on vacation and having fun. We met some other local
people while at the bar and also this pretty crazy hippy girl who was
wandering around the bar by herself. She was quite the handful and
seemed to be on her own planet. She would dance by herself and then
even at one point she jumped ...
... 8211; fog and mountains not a good combination when flying an aircraft). We managed to make it to Nelson after 5 p.m. just in time to pick up some appetizers before the stores shut down. With our appetizers of local cheeses and breads and the BC wines we picked up, we had a fun happy hour with Jeff’s brother and his wife – Max and Bev. We had made to Nelson safely, it was time to celebrate and take in the beauty of Nelson. Let our snowy adventures ...
