... to it. its not so in your face that it ruins it at all, in fact this is a brilliant way to run a zoo. There were a few features (such as bears and unfortunately for me (Stoo) the penguins) that were closed but as your visit is free you don't feel so let down.

It was a pleasant traveling day with arrival in Joplin about 3:30 p.m. As we arrived in Joplin there were several trucks and cars ditch parking causing us to Thank the Lord for safe passage. Left St Louis crossed the Mississippi River not much corn growing here more beans. Wee are using a Garment GPS to get directions on where Route 66 is. The GPS is always trying to send us back onto the highway. Some times we come to. An intersection the Route 66 sign points left the GPS says go right, very easy to get lost.
