Hello Everyone,
Well, this is the end of a great journey. We have completed our 2014 Hawaii Adventure, putting 5,110 miles on the car and spending a mere $457 gallons on gasoline...that's less than 9 cents per mile! After Utica we were off to Middlebury, Indiana in the heart of Indiana's Amish country. We stopped mid afternoon, so had a bit of time to tour around. So off we want to Goshen - not the one in Egypt - but the one that's the home of Forest River, where our RV was built. Saw the factory and LOTS of RVs. ... star was the incredible athlete Jim Thorpe who had won the decathlon and pentathlon in the 1912 Olympics. In 1916 he became the coach and star player of the Canton Bulldogs and paid the princely sum of $500.

Apart from the historical section I of course enjoyed anything Cowboy related and detested anything Steeper related... heehee. All in all a great time even with the nasty one hour trip back in the pouring rain.
