    ... was layers of different colours of rocks and deep deep valleys. It was hard to grasp the actual size of it as it was sooo huge. Then we saw another plane and it looked like a tiny bird compared to the mountainous canyon. It was so beautiful it left us all speechless. The river through the canyon was brilliant blue and snaked around and formed beautiful lakes that we could see people boating on. After the canyon flight we hit the road for LA.     I was convinced we were going to miss our flight to Australia. I pretty much had a meltdown on the plane as we were pulling back in to the loading area not 10 minutes after we pulled out.     ... Wir hatten noch etwa anderthalb nicht verplante Tage übrig und nach einem kurzem Check der Landkarte, beschlossen wir spontan nach LA zu fahren.
