We arrived in LA at 6:30am this morning. the Timezone changes meant that we arrived earlier then when we left. After getting off the plane, we had to go through the U.S. Customs. Once we got through the customs, we caught a shuttle bus to union station. I was extremely tired as I had not gotten any sleep on the flight. Once we arrived at union station, we had a long walk to get to our hotel in China town. After lunch, we all went back to our hotel for a sleep.

    Time for some fun!

Man there are ...

... a group of 8 very talented Chinese teenagers (training since the age of 5) perform unbelievable feats with their bodies. , set to music, followed by a slow walk through the gardens to see all the displays created of Chinese scenes made from silk over framing and all lit from within.
A LONG day and we departed crossing in the dark over the Mississpipi into State of Illoinis and our bed for the night.

... I'm excited to get to know more of them and also meet Cassie (basically team mom and captain of everything the Taylor students do out here. We meet her tomorrow for dinner and an early screening of a movie called Old Fashioned.)
After dinner, we were going to go to a movie in downtown Pasadena, but we couldn't find any parking and by the time we did, it was too late to see it. So we got ice cream instead, a ...
