      ... back toward the car. I stopped at a tribute display of the original gas station at the Market - pretty cool with the old truck, gas pumps and oil bottles. I happen to have a thing for old gas pumps. I blame the Spaghetti Factory from when I was a kid - you remember the old gas pump with the fish tank in the reservoir? Coolest darn thing!

      Have had the best night sleep since starting this holiday - slept 8 hours straight through the night, which is very unusual for me. I love the place we're staying. It has such a great atmosphere. Got up early this morning, went downstairs and had a gorgeous breakfast - brioche, fresh juice, freshly brewed coffee and fruit.       ... part of the hotel that had very recently been refurbished. We dropped our bags and headed down towards the "metro" (train station).
