    Hit the BP station in Metropolis, IL randomly and the boys were excited to find out that it's Superman's hometown. Even the gas station had these sweet cutouts to pose with. They want to collect stickers from all of the states as we travel so we were able to get a fun one. As we travel further south the people seem to get more polite. Less fashionable perhaps but definitely kinder and more considerate. Made it to Kentucky!!! ...

    ... the sale of alcohol. They are a "damp" town as Dusty would say. Liquor stores can sell during a certain time on Sunday's but restaurants can't sell it at all. It's the almighty battle between church and state. Mike purchased a commemorative decanter and of course I got a shot glass and magnet. My two must haves on every trip.
