... Ron and I could barely carry it up to the car!

We feast on the cheese, salami and crackers from Osceola and some red wine. It's been a great trip: great weather and lots of fish.

One great thing about this resort is they clean and filet the fish for you. Tomorrow we head home with 82 pounds of trout! If you like trout, you'll be getting an invitation to dinner.

Soup and cheese biscuit, Cornish game hen and pork loin, corn and potato and to finish it off the absolute best flakiest apple turnover. And then of course the picture which was too good to pass up. All in all a great way to end the day.

Except of course the two hour drive to Mansfield. Thankfully it was more like an hour since I was struggling to stay awake.

I got in to the Southern Inn motel around 5:30pm where Mike greeted and welcomed me. I said it had been a long day for just so few miles and the hills were a lot nicer than the day before yesterday.....a lot nicer...I unloaded the Van and within 30 minutes the gals all came riding in...We got ready for dinner and walked across the street to the Cozumel Mexican restaurant....It was really good even though they had ran out of rice, busy day for them......

They stayed there and this is where Laura started to write the famous series: Little House on The Prairie. Laura lived to be 90 and Almanzo to 92. For 8 years they lived in a stone house 1/2 a mile down the road that was built and designed for them by their daughter Rose who decided that they needed a break from the farm chores. In an ...
