This accomdations exceeded my expectations. The hotel had been recently remodeled and was very clean. It was a great nights sleep for a nice inexpensive value.

... throughout the hills are the old mines which now have been turned into memorials or museums. Also in the hills you will find Our Lady of the Rockies. She overlooked our campground. It was a spectacular site. She was on the mountain at over 8,000 feet in elevation.
On Saturday, we hung around and had a visitor at the campsite. A baby moose ran through the site.....at first when I saw it, I thought it was a horse. It was so neat seeing one so close. ...

Before we left, Deena witnessed her first REAL COWBOYS wearing not only a cowboy hat but as you'll see in the photo, spurs on their boots as well.
Another adventurous day it was, full of laughter, beauty, and being grateful for all we have.

After parting ways with Will, Cathy, Erin, and Kyla, we headed north to Bozeman so Colleen could catch her flight home. We made a brief visit to the Mammoth area and saw the terraces there, but otherwise drove on to Bozeman. It is a nice college town where Montana State is, we enjoyed the main street there for a brunch. We sadly dropped off Colleen at the airport knowing we'd next see her in Las Vegas. I stopped off in Butte, MT on my way from Bozeman to Missoula. Butte used to be one of the biggest boomtowns in America due to it's rich mineral reserves but is now dwindling since the mines are no longer profitable at current metal price levels.
