... the time I was planning to be in Vietnam is during their Tet. For those of you who recall learning about the Vietnam War and the Tet Offensive in high school, Tet is the Vietnamese New Year, and it lasts about nine days. It's their most important holiday, and it is very heavy on family reunions and such; apparently a lot of businesses and offices shut down and the price of goods and services increases during this period. P.S. I am sorry my favorite picture is an animal and not a person, but I will never get tired of seeing the magnificence of God's creation when I am on a safari. To see this and so many other things is God's gift and I am glad I got to share it with you all.
