... do I really need to tell you what he purchased there?...and, of course, the Harley shop to get a poker chip. A stop to buy more Jack Daniels limited edition stuff that, apparently, can only be bought in Tennessee, and then we drove into the thick forest of Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Not too tender, but I am thinking it is better to allow my leg to fully recover - because it keeps costing me zero days! Tomorrow hopefully will be the beginning of long mile days, and some great night hikes! As for today, playing with the hostels dogs, and doing some light helping around the place. Really hate the fact that I have no phone ...

... We hiked 4 miles, came across some trail magic - hot chocolate, power jelly beans, chips, and nice/comfortable sitting chairs......awesome treat. And to top off things - Voo-Doo showed up, was great seeing her, she had taken off 9 days to hang with friends. 2 more miles of hiking, then off to the hostel - have to let this foot rest, it is not getting better. Warm bed, burgers, and great company tonight.....a good way to recover ...
