Luckily the kids forget the pain quicky after the return, as they jump into the pool.

... City is a cool little town from the looks of it and the Harley Davidson dealer in Cherokee is great. We met some guys from TN in the parking lot who modified some really cool Harleys. After getting into a jam on 19 on the way to Maggie Valley because of a wreck (it looked like a car sideswiped the rocky cliff on the side of the road) we made it to the Wheels of Time Motorcycle Museum. ... ahead because I hadn't wanted to go 9 more miles and over a mountain to the next shelter the previous day (it would have been a 22 mile day for me).
