... he pulled out his harmonica (not a euphemism) and started to play songs... at us. If there had been a dictionary handy, and we looked up the word CRINGE, a photo of Marks face at that moment would have been printed. ... I really wasn't keen! We entered into the building (not sure what to call it) and there were reminders about Federal law about bombs etc. There was even a sign to say that jokes about bombs wouldn't be funny or tolerated..... This made us laugh! I decided to give it a go!!! Eeeeeeeek! We bought our tickets and joined a queue. To get to the top of the arch, you take a 4 minute ride in a capsule designed for 4 people. After a great nights rest and a fine breakfast we set off again with Mumsie and Jasmin deciding that after reading all the Route 66 guide books and maps, that they would do some navigation! Well, all went well for the first HALF HOUR!!!!!! Then quite suddenly we found ourselves on a one lane, luckily sealed, road in the middle of a guy's ranch, surrounded by soy beans and corn, with both the girls denying all responsibility!!!! ...
