... make our way east toward Florida. We have never seen the southern states and thought spring might be a good time. We need to be in Virginia by the first of April for a campground host position at Belle Isle State Park. We will be there for a month and will also get to spend time with daughter Holly and her family, who are now stationed near Washington DC. We may even make the National Cherry Blossom Festival there. Can't wait! ...

... nice, ice cold Gatorade. We rode around for a few miles trying to find one. Finally. Glug glue glug. Back at host. Ate some snick snacks. Took a nice hose shower. Opened some mail (thank you Aunt Karen, the Hills, the Nimmos, Courtney, the Steinbargers, the Nolls, the Saunders, Janie... y'all rock!). Took a nippy-nap. Ate some more snick snacks. Ate some dinner. Went for a walk to the supermarket. Got a RedBox. Watched Non-Stop with the team. Went NiNight. ...

We stayed on the 2.5 but one turned into a 3.....I had to get out of the jeep (yes I was a chicken) but Rusty did really well. One ...

... 30pm. We wandered over and caught two sets of those in attendance jamming, all playing old-time, mostly country music with mostly guitars-- it was very enjoyable. We were the youngest by far I'm sure. I knew the words to most of the songs -- those years in the legion and my mom's style of music. 'Tis warm here -- 88 degrees and tonight I would expect it is not much below 70 even at this time. ...

... as food, water, and whatever they want. Gem enthusiasts, collectors and jewelers swarm into this area. If one comes and they are going to meet someone they better known exactly where they will be camped. There are even videos showing what the Quartzsite is like and where to go during the winter months. I was amazed how many campers were in the town as we drove through. RV camping everywhere but most stores ...
