... 10 to Blythe. AK did the driving and SJ slept most of the way! The motel was basic but clean and the staff were lovely. We got showers and SJ used her beloved straightening irons and we went out for tea. We chose a steak place called Sizzler and the food was lovely with lots of fresh salad and veggies. The locals were whispering and looking over at us but then they don't see many tourists. We had a great sleep and it was nice not waking up in a sauna. We headed out ...
