In Puerto Vallarta we're taking the complete city tour that includes a stop at a Tequilla factory...sweeeet! We can also set up this tour to go to anywhere we'd like, like the beach, which sure sounds good to me! Can't wait.
"Muck Fichigan" is one of my first memories of Columbus, Ohio and arriving at Ohio State. The whole campus is littered with shirts, posters, signs, etc that all say Muck Fichigan. As a die hard sports fan, I quickly embraced this slogan of my newly adopted 2nd favorite college sports team, the Buckeyes. Back in the gold ol' U of F, we hate a lot of schools. The traditional 3 are Tennessee, Florida State, and Georgia. But up in Big 10 ...
Saginaw, Michigan, United States tourdevWe obtained baseball tickets online for a game between Tampa Bay and Detroit on Sunday, August 30, 2009 in Detroit (Comerica Park). We sat in section 121OD, row 9, seats 9-12. They were excellent seats. We were within 25' of the Tampa Bay dugout. The Tigers won 4 to 3. After the game, we took the people mover (monorail system) and had dinner in Greek Town.
North Branch, Michigan, United States socksFrankenmuth - "Michigan's Little Bavaria" began with the founding of St. Lorenz Church in 1845. Frankenmuth is well known for Bavarian heritage, hospitality, and charm. Frankenmuth is re-known for its German festivals, food, shopping and dining. We ate at the Bavarian Inn. Established in 1888, the restaurant is famous for its all-you- can-eat chicken dinners and its Wiener Schnitzel.
Frankenmuth is also the home of Bonner’s – the World’s largest Christmas store.
Vidon Plastics is owned by the Dube family. They manufacture multiple extruded parts and primarily sell to commercial and automotive industries. The plant occupies 50,000 square feet and is located on eight acres of land in Lapeer, MI. There is plenty of room for further expansion. The Company employs about 50 people; work 3 shifts and has a gain sharing program. Tour of the plant was most impressive.
North Branch, Michigan, United States socks... br>It will be interesting to compare the journey back through the US. Already i notice the incessant Golden Arches that are at every single junction.
Aiming to be back in Nanaimo by September 1st but we'll see how things develop and how the roads are.
This journey is to be savoured.
After the largest amount of water that has ever fallen out of the sky fell out of the sky on top of us we arrived in Columbiaville, MI. It may not have technically been the largest amount of water that ever fell out of the sky but it was the most we have ever seen and it made the roads slippery and wet. Lots of aquaplaning cars and accidents (sadly). We, however, were safe after we crawled from Iowa through Illinois and into Michigan in record breaking ...
Columbiaville, Michigan, United States bekandjesse... driving down the road from becoming monotonous.
We went through Kirkersville, Etna (beautiful little town), Pataskala,
Johnstown, Sunbury, Delaware, then we bypassed Upper Sandusky, Findlay,
Bowling Green and finally reached Toledo, Ohio. We took the west
route around Toledo and then got back on US23 heading into Michigan.
We skirted Ann Arbor although we got off at one exit to get something
cold to drink which turned into a fun experience with a big long truck

Durand, Michigan, United States gratitude... to what he´d come with. I brought $110, TJ the same, Chris $80, and Stacy $60. Casinos are only fun if you make them fun. Or, if you win. Then they´re really fun. Otherwise, casinos are just a bunch of dull people who mistakenly think they´re not just throwing their money into a hole in the ground. I´m one of those dull people who like a good hole in the ground. I looked for a fun stimulus. A square-bodied, broad-shouldered American Indian woman (this ...
