    ... in September, but the upside was that we didn't have to go out in all that rain. Of course, it could all happen again in September......

    Plan B was to go get a National Park site passport stamp. There is an exhibition coal mine in Beckley (about 20 minutes from the ATV park), which is part of the National Coal Heritage Area, so off we went.     ... up after dinner. I'm on a streak--19 straight days finding a cache. I'm hoping to extend that to the last day of summer, so an easy and early West Virginia find is quite helpful.

    And that was about it for today! We're up early tomorrow--we have to meet the ATV folks by 8:30 at the trail head, about 45 minutes from here. Will try to get some photos of us soaking wet on ATVs--should be rather entertaining!

    The purpose for us being in Beckley, was to be close to Hinton, WV, which is where my Father was born, so that we could go to the Court House and see if we could find his birth certificate.
