Once again: if you don't know have the curtesy of going to another person's site. This isn't for the public. So I went to Austin for the Association of Moving Image Archivists conference. I didn't want to go but I was sitting on the panel for Archiving the Action. It took me two and half months to physically and mentally prepare for that. There were many many people I didn't want to see there. So many people I don't want to have anything to do with. It's funny. During school there were a few ...

... unable to see it. We had a nice day walking around the downtown area and just enjoying the awesome weather. We had some lunch at Whole Foods Market and enjoyed people watching at the capital building. After the long day of walking we found a this cool little bar, Little Woodrow's and watched the Yankes/LA. Not a bad way to end our stay in Austin, good beer and baseball playoffs!

... they also airlifted another person out. It keeps coming back to my mind periodically. Just changed the mood of the car for a while, knowing what was taking place. But all in all it was a good day. Dad and Mom seemed to have really enjoyed the day as well. So tomorrow we go to the LBJ library and drive to Dallas, and then in Dallas we do Deally Plaza and the 6th floor museum.

People here like to jog. There were joggers all over the place and I doubt it's because of the warm weather because I'm pretty sure it's warm here most of the time.
All along 6th there are bars and restaurants and further toward the ...

It happened to be some Harley Davidson Rally weekend. Well doing some research now...I see it called ROT (Republic of Texas) Rally 2009 which is the biggest biker rally in Texas. As you can imagaine. There were hundreds of bikers and their bikes all over the place. Streets were closed off to allow this event to happen. I was definitly liking it. I like bikes...so this was a unexpected highlight event for me. This lasted throughout the first weekend. We ...
... a good conversation. We feel like we identify with their style and personality. She asked me to schedule a conversation with their executive pastor to get some more ideas about what we could bring to their team. After that we headed back into downtown Austin. I gotta say we are really enjoying it. It feels alive, there is so much energy. We grabbed a meal at Guero's Taco Bar. It was very tasty. Outside they had a small stage where a band was playing while people ...

She is also a modern thinking woman and has numerous goals and ambitions beyond childrearing, and she’s independent and enjoys her space and doesn’t NEED a husband. She doesn’t NEED to be taken care of. It sounds like we’re agreeing, and it’s close enough that we may date for a few months or a few years. But when the conversation is brought up later, amidst tears and plate throwing, it usually turns out ...

I will post photos and videos to prove she's adorable. She's at least twice as cute as all the other kids on the planet, except for my other nieces and nephew, who on their best days are equally as cute.
Austin, Texas, United States bogitAnother bright welcoming morning, just right for more exploring - one thing about this incredible journey of ours is that we don't have to pack all the sight seeing into a couple of days or weeks. It is a luxury we cherish, but today we were in the mood for 'looking'. As we drove through downtown, it had its Saturday coat on, so the uni and the office ...
