... break so relaxing and nerve-racking at the same time!

Along with my mind, my living spaces are also in chaos, but at least it's organized chaos. I have so many documents printed out and so many clothes and supplies piled on top of one giant suitcase. It will be reorganized at least a dozen more times before I decide what goes where. Alongside the mess in the middle of my floor lies the pile of 8 travel books I have ...

... for the Blue Ridge Parkway which is a national parkway famed for its majestic beauty. The drive stretches from Virginia to North Carolina and has picnic spots and hiking trails dotted along its entire route. On another trip it would be fantastic to do this whole drive all the way to Nashville but for now we contented ourselves with driving until the fog wouldn't allow us to go any further.

The original plan was to stop along the way and do ...

After not seeing each other for 3 months, we decided it would be a good idea for our first activity to be a 2.5 hour road trip (each way) up to Asheville, NC. Two people. One Acura (Japanese Princess). No air conditioning. Roll out.
We tried to go to the Biltmore Estate, but it was CRAZY expensive, so we just went to the city and wandered around in the awful ...
