    ... ie..batten down the hatches!! There was a lull until about midnight - then I proceeded through the night - in what best described as going through a continuous car wash!!...boy did it rain. I kept checking the outside ground to make sure there wasn't some creek rising up to get me!! Still rain this am...but warm again. Enough weather!!...boring-- but we do like to talk about it!!! Moving on - south into Florida today ...where to stay on this Christmas Eve??...somewhere dry I ...

    ... on Davis - neither of these 2 Union Troops knew of the other and unfortunately after trading "friendly fire" two soldiers from Michigan were shot and killed and one from Wisconsin. (Coincidently the soldier from Wisconsin was named John Hines (my dad's brother was named John Hynes)! A relative? Not sure.

    ... when we got to the top of the first climb!!! We made the very wise choice of buying a platinum flash pass, which meant we could reserve our ride times and skip the queue, and also stay on the coasters for two consecutive rides- definitely worth it!!! And did I mention that it was 97 degrees?!!! Another reason queue jumping was so good! After Six Flags it was a short 2 ...

    ... couples here from STR. I didn't have the camera out this morning to take a picture of the fairgrounds, but I will tomorrow. Can you imagine 2,000 or more motorhomes of various sizes being in the same vicinity? Well that's how many are in attendance. And even with the rain and soggy field, most everyone was in a good mood.     Back in "G/G" we started making our plans for this week and the seminars we wanted to attend. Since the rain was so bad, we decided not to travel to Andersonville today. After looking at the schedule for the rally, we decided we could visit there on Thursday afternoon.
