    ... Susitna borough which includes Wasilla and Palmer. (Alaska has bouroughs rather than counties). Within the city limits of Anchorage, there are an estimated 1,500 moose, nearly 250 black bears and almost 60 brown bears! We went into the Federal building, following a security screening and into the Public Lands/National Parks Visitor's Centre where we watched two films (the guys watched three)-- Bears of Katmai and The day the earth shook.
