Today we left hill city and traveled south to Custer South Dakota. While riding on 385 south we happened upon a buffalo drinking from a watering hole. See photographs. ... seeing lots of fields of rolled hay, and a whole new color to add to my palette. It's a very pale yellow, almost like an ash blonde. Must be wheat. So many shades of yellow, it's like a hair salon's choices for blonde hair.
