Vandaag een lange reisdag (ongeveer 600 km) dus staan we om 7 uur naast ons bed. Waarschijnlijk voor de laatste keer een lekker vers Engels ontbijt met roerei, worstjes en aardappeltjes. Hierna slapen we voornamelijk in motels en niet meer in hotels en daar komt bijna alles uit plastic verpakkingen. Uiteindelijk rijden we om 8.45/9.00 weg richting …

... just missed the hurricane coming in from the Pacific...we went from temps in the mid 90s and 90+ humidity to low 60s and low 40s last night...burr. Just what I expected for Ohio. Where'd summer go?

I know a ton of mail is awaiting for us and Richard will pick it up tomorrow. It was nice to be back in our own bed...but I sure miss those good cooks & our cabin steward! We are now back to ...

... need to eat up some miles, but the views were still good.

We decided to visit Pittsburgh for a late lunch, and were persuaded by an enthusiastic waitress to try a Greek Restaurant. The food had mixed, if not widely-divergent, reviews. The route to the restrooms led right through the kitchen, and Mandy wished she had eaten first like the rest of us. Ah well, you can't win them all.

... as badly as I had expected either. I must say though, it is a truly beautiful venue.

Load out didn't take any more than the typical two - three hour timeline that we are used to, so nothing really changed there. It was nice to go directly into another day off. Only three more shows with KISS, than two in Mexico as just us. This summer is going WAY too fast.

... and even with standing water in a few places so we pick our spot carefully. After about 45 minutes of maneuvering, checking, testing we finally unhook and settle on a location. We had a location, but the attendant came by and said we were actually parked across two sites so had to move. He explained how the campsites were divided then we proceeded to look again with fresh eyes at the possibilities. Ok. We find our spot in an angle on the grass ...
