... while I happily entertained the girls in the camper. Rodney’s sister, Kari, had driven them here, so she left quickly with their car to try to get back home tonight. We got everything settled, and now it’s quiet again – the girls have finally settled down now that Mom and Dad are in the tent too!

Tomorrow starts a new adventure – the first leg we will have ridden with any of our kids. Looking forward to ...

... that all day!) There were ups and downs, but we were feeling strong and not having to slow down as much on the hills. The landscape became much more of what we thought North Dakota would be. Slightly rolling hills with large fields, and long straight roads. Some of the fields had piles of large rocks variously scattered in them, and it reminded us of fields in the dry land farms northeast of Ephrata on the very rural road to ...

... that we would leave early and have time to do all the fun Ingalls Homestead stuff before dinner, but due to the rain, that was a miss. We stayed in the wagon and uploaded pictures to my laptop, and just relaxed inside.

I was SO glad we had the wagon and not a tent. Another huge thunderstorm and high wind (with no trees to shelter or block the wind, since... prairie! I barely slept.

NOTE: If you want to stay in a covered wagon - and you WILL after you see the pictures, you have to call well in advance and ask for a wagon when you make camping reservations. They have big ones, small ones, and regular tent camping sites. We got a big one.

While we were at breakfast the shop called to let us know that the motorhome would be ready mid-afternoon. This was unexpected but welcome news! We packed up and checked out of the hotel by the 11 deadline. Having a few hours to kill we decided to visit Falls Park to see the famous
