After saying goodbye to our new found friends, we left Fort Laramie and then spent a couple of hours doing laundry and shopping.

The owner was odd and the place was run down. Wouldn't be my first

so if you want to see Laura Ingalls Wilder related things, you have
to stay there or miles away.

While we were at breakfast the shop called to let us know that the motorhome would be ready mid-afternoon. This was unexpected but welcome news! We packed up and checked out of the hotel by the 11 deadline. Having a few hours to kill we decided to visit Falls Park to see the famous
