... the waitress what they were (we told her they were shoes as far as we knew) she insisted we tried them. They had the look of a small scotch egg deep fried and coated with breadcrumbs, but inside was a potato consistency that tasted wonderful but of no one thing. ... a GREAT plan. The dinner was really wonderful -- everyone's favorite Disney restaurant meal, by far. It was a polynesian buffet served family-style, so we could stuff our pieholes without even having to waddle over to a buffet and back. Steak, pork, shrimp and chicken were cooked on skewers and brought around by servers. The Park is at the boundary point for Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. A spectacular view from Pinnacle Overlook includes all three states. The Visitor Center has two movies, exhibits, and an Artisans Craft Guild Shop with quality crafts. There are 85 miles of hiking trails, and Gap Cave (yes, we did a third cave tour on this trip, but they were all very different).
