... 27 6:41am am getting warmer ... Arrived at the thousand Island boarder 7.00am breezes through with our nexus passes Next stop Preble New York and I took over the wheel -14oC @. 9:10 am Drove until just north of Harrisburg ...12:30 pm and had pizza... yum yum ...it's now -3 and there is still snow on the ground Just crossed the Maryland boarder at 1:45 pm ...

Left Richmond with great hopes for putting a lot of miles behind us but were thwarted by winter. Almost like it was following us. After only 4 hours we had to end our day due to over (according to the news) 100 accidents on the Interstate 95 corridor. I lived in RVA for 4 years and had no idea this place existed! It was awesome. An old train buttress turned into a climbing wall. Someone came along and bolted the routes and left courtesy rugs for ropes (high flooded area). It was perfect. We started on the shaded wall where it was a bit chilly but we outsmarted the brick and had hand warmers in our chalk bags!

I will be honest I felt a little funny climbing ...

After a late night and 87 days travelling the "lazy" Dewds didn't wake up until after 11 am but our hosts were very gracious about our late rising and served us a delicious brunch. ... time to say goodbye to the Boardwalk and make our way over the the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our breakfast reservation at Boma.

We cut it a bit close, so I dropped everyone off at the lobby so they could go check in while I parked the car. Alas, when I made it down to Boma we were just being seated. Boma is one of our all time favorite venues to dine for dinner and they do an equally great job ...
