This morning I am packed and ready, the car is loaded and in a few minutes we are on our way to Skeleton Lake where Eryn's family keeps a summer cabin.
The drive from here should take 2 1/2 hours, up to 6 in bad summer cabin traffic.

I emerged into the arrivals hall 4 hours later than I should have - poor Dan. Just over 30 minutes later I arrived at the welcoming and comfortable home of Dan & Laurie in Burlington. It was good to renew old acquaintances with a glass of Canada's finest wine! I slept well.
