So we cycled to Omaha from Brayton, IA, which was about 115km (70 miles). We stayed at Ali's place that she shares with her roommates. Her boyfriend Scott showed us around town and had a great time!

We even staged a truck commercial. Victor let me out on the side of the road and he came driving back crunching gravel and kicking ...

    ... away.

Cameron got to do his stall, then we headed back for a pass down the runway and a landing. After loading up, Alex and I set out at 10, and we climbed into the incredibly smooth but hazy air. We found that the top of the haze layer was 8,500', but we came back down to 6,500' to avoid some of the 20+ knots of headwind at that altitude.

Today's flight was all about avoiding the midwestern thunderstorms that plague the Plains this time ...
