... for us was riding the raging river rapids attraction. It does say "you will get wet", however it did not state HOW WET! Let's just say it was more of a SOAKING, DRIPPING UPPER AND LOWER BODY DRENCHING. I will hold on the precise details of that.
It was a lot of laughs and ...
... to drive another way through the Smoky Mountains, to see the start of the Appalachian Trial. Here we walked along the same footpath as the Native American tribes when they were forced from their land, so we did a mile of it and made our way back. Driving out of the park, we then stopped at the small town of Cherokee, to visit the museum about the native tribes, and the Cherokee people. It was a nice museum, but a tad boring if I may say. Another nearly 500 miles today, and only appx. 450 to go tomorrow. Another traffic jam outside Knoxville today, for two days in a row of shut down stopped traffic. This one was due to our third accident viewed on this nearly 7500 mile journey.
Just a few pics posted for tonight. Tomorrow, H O M E ! ! ! ! !
