Aamusella piipahdin kirppiksellä Heartland Antique Mallissa, josta löytyi mm. puusta kaiverrettuja ja metallista prässättyjä kylttejä, tummasta puusta valmistettuja huonekaluja sekä metallisia, kuvitettuja rasioita. We knew that we had a long trip ahead so we decided not to stay too long so we were done by 12:00. We meant and toyed with the idea of heading to the City Museum which is a ...

Pedaling on into Missouri

Today we rode off into the rolling hills of Missouri and encountered our first road grade greater than 10%. We expect to see a lot more of this in the coming days. Once again the weather gods smiled on us, the wind was minimal, there was no rain and a bit of cloud cover did not spoil our day. We enjoyed the rural ride through small, well kept farms and had a dinner repast at a local truck stop adjoining our hotel....ah the luxuries of the itinerant ...
