... the meatloaf at Redstone a couple of times before, so I gave it a shot. It was absolutely fantastic, served with mash potato and green beans with garlic butter. How could you possibly visit the US and not try meatloaf! Desert followed and we all shared a Banana Cream pie, WOW.

It was home after that and we sort of just rolled into bed. It was another great day and rumour has it, we get to have a sleep in tomorrow.

It was the first time that I was able to appreciate the sheer size of ...

... of the first stop, a daycare. This is Brookfield's first time hosting the circus and she was super excited! She had all sorts of questions for us and wants to make sure the town is overly prepared for the show, which is really a fantastic welcome. Anne's even going to help our cookhouse with grocery shopping and hooking up the tigers with their meat.

The day was partially planned out, with random stops along the way ...

... family on Facebook, we immediately started noticing that all of these emotions and physical issues were shared by the whole gang! We weren't alone. We saw other 2am Facebook posts, "Jet lag is no fun. I can't sleep." It was just another way our bond grew stronger with our new wonderful friends. We were all miserable and wanting to go back to Kenya! I think Laura has already re-packed and is ready to go.

This past Saturday we had our ...
