... to hide from us as well by staring at the wall and putting their heads down. Poor things. After that I can now say I can catch a chicken fairly easily! It was so nice to cuddle them though!! The chickies!!!! So much love for them. Sarah and I are off to bed and we are hoping that the severe thunderstorms that are predicted will not be too severe!!! Sad that I have to leave tomorrow though. Gonna miss it and I'm gonna miss the farm ...

... shotgun! At about 7.30am I decided to just get up and go see what Jim had actually shot - ha! He attempted to shoot a male sparrow but he missed. Apparently it started flying around the chickens then the bunkhouse and then the cars and by that point it wasn't a good shot! I don't agree with shooting animals by the way, for everyone's information. I just love guns and target shooting! Just to make that clear! So started about 8.30am helping Deb pack up the 22 boxes ...

... Super cool! I also got to see a HUGE John Deere tractor that is meant for planting and ploughing the fields. And by huge I mean huge. Gigantic. Never in my life have I seen such a big tractor! They grow soy beans, oats and corn! Yum yum! so on our drive home I got to sit in the back of the truck with all the bales of straw! It was so cool!!! Best way to see the countryside with the wind blowing through your hair!! Once we got home Sarah and I started on the mushroom project for Jim ...

... been planning but we stupidly decided to do it in the pouring rain... That was a bad move! Even wearing rain jackets my jeans got soaked! We couldn't end up finding one of the hose pipes anyway so we decided to just go inside and wait till Deb and Jim got home. We spent a couple of hours just relaxing (again, the weather just was not co-operating!) then Jim and Deb arrived home at about 1pm so we made lunch ...

Today felt like winter! I wore 4 layers and a scarf. We woke up about 6.30am in preparation for the farmers markets which started at 8am. The markets are meant to go from 8am-1pm but we were only there for about 1.5 hours before we decided to pack up and leave. It was horrible weather. Rain and wind!! A shame I didn't get to experience the Mora market. I did however get to meet some of the other vendors and one of the guys who was next to us made things out ...
