We had a nice drive up here on Sunday. We arrived and got set up just before the tornado warnings with severe thunderstorms befused with lightening and thunder. Needless to say we ate indoors. Bob took Meatball for a much needed walk in the middle of the storm and Meatball had a nice swim in the lake in the middle of it all. Thunder doesn't seem to bother him.

... radishes and bok choy. Whilst harvesting the roxy I got stung by burning nettle and the antidote to that is a weed called burdock. It grows in the hoop house and I couldn't believe how well it worked! Lots of bug spray on for the night... It seems pointless to shower when I'm constantly wearing the spray! Oh well, only 5 more days here on the farm! Bit sad that my holiday is nearly over... I don't want to go back to living in the suburbs! The countryside and rural areas are so much ...

... roast potatoes with garlic and other veggies and I had tofu and my own veggies as well. Of course I had my almond ice cream afterwards... It's now becoming my dessert EVERY night. And I eat it straight out of the container too which makes it very difficult to have self control!!! Later on at night at about 10pm we had a small bonfire which was really nice. It was a cool night and only a bit cloudy so you could still see the moon! A really nice way to end the weekend. ...

It was really funny walking around the supermarket talking to Debbie because nearly every person would hear my accent and look at me funny!
