... a dueling piano bar. Two men playing all kinds of requests. Very good and entertaining. We sat with our neighbors from the campground; they were from Illinois. Lots of drunken girls from Chicago who were dancing most of the night. Like I said, very entertaining.

We walk from there back up to Beale St and in the hour or so that we have been gone, things haven't changed too much. We find ourselves a bar with some decent live music and get some ribs. ... not talking to each other.... but we've been in a car and joined at the hip to each other for three weeks now and we both wanted to get caught up on stuff. The food was so so SO good. I got beef brisket and Tyler got the full rack of ribs. We wolfed our food down. I could even cut my meat with a plastic fork. ... s which is a proper disco. Having a light up floor a la Saturday Night Fever and a disco ball. It was also an interesting experience since the bar sold 40 oz beers, had multple armed guards, had a man in a sequin suit DJing, and the air in the disco was a 50/50 mix of oxygen and fog machine fog. And after a total of two hours of sleep Saturday morning I'm on my way to NOLA.

... Nicole, Corey and Ash to check out the Peabody hotel/duck palace. The Peabody hotel has little ducks living on the roof in the "Duck Palace Penthouse". During the day the ducks swim in the lobby pond, but at 5pm the “duck master” comes out rolls out the red carpet and the ducks get escorted to the duck palace.
