This was the most impressive site we have seen so far. Each point on the serpent aligned with a solstice sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset or equinox point. Very impressive - the gift shop was also very good, with local native crafts (our first big shopping "spree".

Lunch at another very good local restaurant and then on to Seip Mound. More than just a burial mound, there are remainders of ...

Drizzling all day today but warmer than yesterday. 106 miles with lovely scenery. Small rolling hills.
Lots of different people joining to cycle with friends, a number temporarily were misplaced but the game of find the missing cyclist always ended well. An ABB alumni was on the roadside at 95 miles giving out cold ...

... coexistence occurred. (Had hoped to see one of the communities, but it wasn't open). Also read about the colonists using small pox as a weapon against the Indians, who had no immunity to the disease. Colonists would give "gifts" of blankets infected by the disease to a community and wait for the virus to decimate the Indian families.

Still amazed at the some of the detail that can be seen in some of the earliest artwork and tools from these communities. ...

As some of you know, you are required to go through psychological/personality/leadership testing when you decide you want to become a ministry.
