        ... apple butter and sorghum to eat with your rolls. Bob ordered fried chicken and they brought him a leg, 2 wings and a breast. I swear, the chicken must have weighed 15 lbs! His doggie bag contains the breast and both wings! I had liver and onions. Since I can not cook it at home I have to eat it in restaurants. It was pretty good, but I had to bring about half of it home because of everything else they serve with the meal we were stuffed!!

        Easy flight this morning. Out of Lawrenceburg at 07:00 (wanted to get off at 06:00, but Hey, I'm retired!) and landed at Dexter, MO (KDXE) at about 9:30. Lots of cumulus clouds (can you say Bumpy!) building to the west so Dexter for the night, it is. Good spot, as in friendly western hospitality, and the clincher is a RESTURANT! on the field adjacent to the pilots lounge! I may never leave!         ... Detroit. There was so much construction we couldn't really get to the arch or back on the freeway...needless to say, been there done that, don't need to do it again. Pulled into Sikeston at 5pm. That's 730 miles road time. We got to meet the old smoky man who ran the campground and played harmonica with his singing dog.         ... tyre up. They charged me 75 cents to use the air pump! Repeat. THEY CHARGED ME 75 CENTS TO USE THE AIR PUMP! Last time I looked air was free. We had the coins, but that's not the point, they made me pay to pump up a tyre. Arseholes.
