... Patty got off work. After the gardens, we visited some marsh. It was a nice boardwalk through some very swampy wetlands. Some of it was actually forested dunes. It was a good walk. We saw some large pretty hawks nesting there too.

Uncle Jerry wound up in the hospital today. We're not sure for exactly what, but he was having pains in his armpit and back. We think he sprained a muscle. Good news, ...

... to the beach. We visited city beach or "Neshota Shore." It was about noon by the time we left for the beach. We stopped at the grocery store because we forgot sunscreen and aloe and both me and grandpa are pink. We met Kaye, Jerry, and Patty at the beach and all just sat there just enjoying the weather. This morning (Saturday - I know I'm a day late) I rode my bike from camp to town (a five mile trip). I met my grandparents at the park (which is just at the end of the bike trail) for the family reunion.

    The ...

Full Day #1 in Two Rivers Manitowoc and glad to be out of the car. Today was great. When I woke up I explored the bike trail. At first I took it 3 miles to Point Beach and 3 miles back. That took almost an hour and a half. By the time I got back we were going to meet Aunt Patty, Aunt Kaye and Uncle Jerry at Patty's tavern / bar, "the Waverly." From there we walked through Two Rivers, window shopping all the way. We stopped at the same stores ...

Well, we're here in Wisconsin! We made it to the campground in the early afternoon and got all set up in time to see my Great-Aunt Patty and Great-Uncle Fran, and Great-Aunt Kaye and Great-Uncle Jerry. We went with them to an a capella concert in what's called "Central Park" in Two Rivers. The Ride here from Illinois was very interesting. Once in Wisconsin we took the backroads to avoid Milwaukee and Sheboygan. ...
