    We have found that most restrooms are clean, provide soap and paper towels. Much of the dispensing of these, as well as the water, is no touch - movement sensors.Sometimes the toilet flushing is movement sensored as well. Have had the toilet flush a few times when not expecting it. !!!

    Travelled south through Petoskey and came across the largest cherry pie tin at Charlevoix. They baked the pie in the tin at the site ...

    Went to the Soo Locks which is quite a tourist strip. Quite a few people there but not out on the streets in the rain. Watched the water rising in the lock and ships getting ready to enter and one leaving from another lock. The rail bridge over to Canada has two spans which open to let the ships through. One rises while the other opens up in the middle and each side flips up. The queue ...

    ... of scenes in the movie "Somewhere In Time". It is great being able buy fish fresh. Caught, bought, and grilled the same day. Whitefish is very common here and similar to talapia in taste. The farmers market downtown yielded us the best fresh raspberries, blueberries, and fresh baked bread. We were able to ride our bikes daily here. The bike we had borrowed for Lyn wasn't working out, so she got a new one and loves it. We have enjoyed talking with ...

    ... We missed towns here and there but certainly got a flavor of Canadian hospitality everywhere we stopped. We were able to take advantage of some farmers' markets for fresh fruit and vegetables, locally owned bakeries for butter tarts (a Canadian staple), and restaurants famous for fish and chips (another Canadian staple).
