Day 59 – Santa Barbara…and home to Miami.
On our last day we enjoy a generous breakfast at Margie's Diner, a greasy spoon next door to our motel before having a look round San Luis Obispo by day.
Founded in 1772 by Spanish Franciscan Junípero Serra, San Luis Obispo is one of California's oldest communities. The airport designation is SLO, something the locals love to tell you is that life in San Luis Obispo is nice and ...

Not as exciting as we hoped but still cool to get around and see a bit more of LA. After a big day it was time to go back to our favourite pub 33 Taps in Hollywood. Lucky for us we gave ourselves time. Fourty five minutes later we arrived at the airport. We both had holiday blues bad. We headed to the check ...
... in. So driving around on a Saturday night is ultra hectic, especially not knowing which roads are one ways, trying to see where you can/cannot park, and looking for a place to eat ice cream. We finally did though, and everything worked out. We got our ice cream, walked around a little bit and then headed back to PCC. Quite an eventful first day in SoCal.
Good Night and Good Luck,
