... struck. Sadly we had to part ways with the hot U20s American soccer team that were also on the flight (unbeknownst to them who didn't hear a boo out of us, this was certainly a very sad event indeed) Recovering from this utter heartache we hopped on a flyaway bus (don't be fooled by the name-the bus doesn't fly-much to my disappointment) and drove to Hollywood Boulevard. We looked like real locals (NOT) wheeling our ...

... party times are just a memory these days.

Alex and I had some great grammy and grand daughter conversations while lounging on my bed. I waited for that knock on my door. I love sharing confidences with her and it's always fun to tell her stories about her mom growing up...oh oh! Teenage life is so busy and there seems to be so little time for us to spend together alone.

Time flew to fast and now I'm off to Durango.

... s train. As one wends further down the hallways the signs are clear indicators of the magical spirit of the place. Even the bathrooms are decorated with an air of adventure, mystery and magic.

All in all, Whimsic Alley, is a great destination to get ones fill of fantasy and fun while shopping for goodies for your favourite Potter, Who, Thrones or Downton fan... what a delightful adventure we had. And what a fun way to drain one's pocketbook, if one is so inclined!
