Meeting Dave and Linda at Galveston. The 1st time to the island for them. We enjoyed suggesting some of our favorite highlights.

... in a campground outside of Austin in the Texas Hill Country. The winds followed us and made for another interesting night in the tent. The next morning, Monday, it was raining. The activities we had planned were all to be outdoors. So, we decided to head towards Dallas. Rain started pouring down as we were driving north along I-35. No tent tonight! We are now at the Holiday Inn Express with no risk of getting our feet wet.

that the next wave of food was being served by Chef Ramsay who barked out
orders to the sous who was running around like a madman and sweating profusely
to get the garnishes on the plates correctly. As he was doing this Chef was
yelling at him as to what this order was or what that was, and as he served the

0730. Woke up & we all started packing & cleaning up. 0930. We all took off for McDonald's. Not sure why because they were planning to eat Kim Son buffet in Houston for lunch. 1000. We parted ways from everyone. Mando & I made plans to meet up with Jeb for lunch. 1300. Had lunch at Nit Noi. Jeb got to meet Mando & Ava. It was a nice lunch. Good to see him after over a year. 1900. Got home finally. Unpacked & rested. It was an awesome trip! Can't wait for next ...
