... than 4 cowboys out of ten scored in any one event. The mutton busting was exciting. You take a sheep and put a small child (children ages five to seven who weighed less than 55 pounds could apply) and then they try to stay on as long as they can, usually less the 6 seconds.
Saturday we went to town to see the great long horn cattle drive. Later we plan to go by the casino for dinner and then finish the night with a concert on the lawn in town.

From our stop at the historic marker for The Santa Fe Trail, we drove west for about 50 miles, stopping for the night at 4:00 in Garden City, KS. Our only choice for a campground in the area was RJ'S RV Park. Trust me when I tell you that if there had been any other choices (the next available campground heading west is 98 miles away) that we would not have picked this ...
Here we are at this RV park that is so far the worst one on this trip. Good thing we are just stopping for the night and it is not very expensive.
Today's travels went well except it was pretty windy all the way. I guess that is what Kansas is noted for, WIND!
I think my driver is getting a cold, poor guy. Nothing much to say as this is another travel day.
