... we all enjoyed the warmth of the fire as the sun went down. What a great crew we had, we all had such a good time and loved socialising out of work. Leanne also had the best time too! For dessert, we had apple pie and then cooked Smores around the campfire. We walked back to happy valley just before dark. The first stop was the Bull Wheel for a shot, then to the gun barrel for their famous gun barrel coffee and then to Sams for another shot. Everyone was ...

We are looking for a bench seat or something to make up a 3rd seat in our car but no luck yet. We will go to the wreckers in town and fix in a seat belt. Did some last minute jobs in Kelowna, set up bank account and went shopping. We had little contact with our new boss Leanne Foster but managed to meet her at the shops. So nice of her to pick us up and take us to the mountain. She helped us with our bags, showed us around then dropped us off at the mountain backpackers, Urban Retreat Hostel. We booked accommodation for 2 nights at $25 per night and hoped we could find a place ...

We decided to stop in the Okanagan Valley to have a short break from hiking and mountains. To start with we had a lazy day of catching up on chores and using the free wifi, Stu was very happy about this they don't provide any wifi in the National Parks and he was starting to get twitchy. We headed to the local pub in the evening which actually was surprisingly pub-like with a veranda overlooking the lake so ...
