    ... the wonderful architecture. It was Canada's first University. Students come here from all over Canada because of its reputation for high academic standards. It is almost in the center of the town so the students from there are seen jogging and walking in the city and it helps give it a very youthful feeling. We did love this city, which was Canada's first capital city.

    We then went to the dock and boarded a sternwheeler for a 3 hour cruise through the 1000 islands. That is their name but there are actually 1800 islands and they all have summer "cottages" if you can call them that. Many are very grandiose, up to 7500 sq. ft. More like mini castles than cottages.     After spending time downstairs, we headed back to our room and ordered a medium pizza for each person. Frederick had a Canadian pizza, Fiona - a pepperoni pizza, Joanne - a cheeseburger pizza and myself (Ellie) - a veggie pizza. We ordered through the internet with Pizza Pizza. We all enjoyed the pizzas once they arrived at our hotel room.
