... led to a dank and smokey cave by a friendly guy with missing teeth who told us about his five little dogs up in his room - a permanent resident. A large woman called Nana removed herself with difficulty from her chair and made it to the foyer to sort out our room key, which had been given to someone else. I kept waiting to see Bubby or Donny come around a corner.

... when it is something new and exciting that I have not done before. I like the new, the change, the unknown. This I have come to undersatand about myself. I truly enjoy my 30's for this. I am me, and I like that. In my 20's I wassome me, some what others wanted, and some of what I thought I should be. Now I don't worry about any of that....I just do what makes me happy and block out the rest.

Sep 27:
9 am meeting time. We 3 are down in lobby early. Unknown to us, MaryAlice was also down early but in next room! At 9:15, Larry strolls down looking for MaryAlice! Oh well. On to find food for breakfast & back to the market. No American breakfasts in Zagreb we discovered. Easily found bakeries to hold us over along with our cappucinos.
