    ... view of Los Angeles. From the top of the hill we could see for several miles and it was nothing but glittering lights, as far as the eye could see. The scene was something out of a movie! This was one of those times I was glad I didn't have my glasses on as the lights tended to blend together and looked like gold, twinkling Christmas lights. It was breathtaking!

    We decided to spend the whole afternoon on Venice Beach near Santa Monica which was supposed to be a spectacular experience. Venice Beach is famous for its ocean front walk, a two-and-a-half-mile pedestrian-only promenade that features performers, fortune-tellers, artists, and vendors.
