Modern room - comfortable and very clean. Only downside was the corridor smelt like smoke although all the rooms where non smoking - perhaps from old carpet. Wifi - you had to pay for which was a bit disappointing and the wifi range was poor. Walls a little thin but thankfully everyone was quiet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Not much to do nearby but walking distance to a supermarket and a few restaurants. Idaho Falls downtown and actual falls are a short drive away.

Tyson at the front desk is clueless and needs to get a new job. The place is dated, key cards don't work, but the Sox are on and it's a roof.

We finally make it to Salt Lake City. I have always wanted to see the lake, so we follow the map and find it. The lake has a large beach area, but we only see birds there and no people. We get out to take a few pictures ...

The food was great. Joe ordered a hot roast beef sandwich, and I ordered the last of the lunch specials- the chicken pot pie. It had gone fast.
