Modern room - comfortable and very clean. Only downside was the corridor smelt like smoke although all the rooms where non smoking - perhaps from old carpet. Wifi - you had to pay for which was a bit disappointing and the wifi range was poor. Walls a little thin but thankfully everyone was quiet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Not much to do nearby but walking distance to a supermarket and a few restaurants. Idaho Falls downtown and actual falls are a short drive away.

Tyson at the front desk is clueless and needs to get a new job. The place is dated, key cards don't work, but the Sox are on and it's a roof.

After having breakfast at hotel in St George, Utah (basic buffet) we got on the road again. Heading out of Utah, which on reflection has to be one of the most beautiful states into Idaho. Idaho in contrast was flat and green compared to Utah.

We stopped about 40 miles past Salt Lake City in Ogden, Utah for lunch in a little diner. It was …

After we pulled into the tightly-nestled hamlet of Snake River RV campgrounds we immediately headed into the heart of Idaho Falls; I’m starting to catch an affinity for smaller college towns. They’re small enough we won’t be bothered by tons of people and noise, yet big enough that we get a variety of choices in goods. Missoula was great and Idaho Falls is – so far – shaping up to be pretty nice as well. The ...

Just a short drive today, about 4 hours, made it to Idaho Falls! Staying at the Snake River campground. We ventured down to the river walk along the snake river, very pretty spot, the drive here was pretty , the landscape changed a little bit as we passed into Idaho, beautiful lush green farm fields, and not as mountainous as Utah. Tomorrow we are venturing to Craters of the Moon, lava ...

We continue on, taking the time to drive through downtown Salt Lake City We pass by the Salt Lake Tabernacle (Mormon Tabernacle). I would love to have the time to go in and see the inside, but we are trying to make it to our hotel before dark. We stop at Best Buy and trade our inverter that has stopped working.
