... had planned to get lunch at the worlds cheapest Michein starred restaurant, and visit the Jade Market and Temple Street night market and watch the light show. James felt unwell again though so we headed home for a bit. we went to Times Square in the evening which was nice, and waked around the block. We went to a noodle restaurant for dinner and later found a dessert restaurant which we obviously went in!!

... bar long after midnight. We picked up our bags and our breakfast boxes, and made our way across the darkened street to the waiting bus. A peek in the goody box allayed our trepidation as to what we might find; there was some bread, ham, a couple of hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, some cake, a banana and a carton of orange juice; not too bad. We decided to wait until we were at the airport before eating it. There wasn't too much traffic around at this time ...
It's a Small World (afterall)
... for the newly renovated room and they agreed and nicely helped us with a cab to the Langham. We love the Langham! It has the most peculiar art throughout the hotel and the service is impeccable The hotel is attached to a massive, upscale shopping mall with all kinds of eateries and stores. Also, the hotel sits on the metro station so we'll be able to get anywhere in the city quickly and easily. And, best of all, they greeted us with a nice cold towel. ...

... je eerder bang moet zijn dat je niet met contactlenzen (en een gebroken rug) buiten komt. De bochtjes zijn zo scherp dat je van links naar rechts door het bakje wordt gesmeten. Blij dat je je een beetje kunt vasthouden. Hij begon nog wel zo rustig... Tik tik tik omhoog, klein stukje naar beneden met een redelijke snelheid, nog een stukje omhoog, tik tik tik tik BANG! alle remmen los, vol naar beneden, bocht in hakken en nog veel harder er uit en dan nog harder ...

I took in the nightly light show near the Avenue of Stars and sampled the delights of one of the most popular local dishes - McDonalds (a Big Mac meal only costs 20 HK$) but knocked it on the head early as the following day I was intending to have an early start and take in another SAR (Special Administrative Region). ...
