Sunday morning was rough... My parents came over around 5:30 to help us get out the door...after some last minute clean up and packing up bathroom supplies, we made it out before 6 am. ... everybody travels to Denver on Saturday. With accidents and construction, it took us almost 7 hours in what should have taken about 4 hours. We ended up in Kearney, Nebraska at about 10:00pm. There we spent the night boondocking at a rest area on I-80. Tomorrow, we will make better time.

We made it to Maggie's hometown of Ainsworth around 5pm, and were welcomed by her brother Larry, sister-in-law Judy, and nephew Dave (affectionately known around town as Simp or Screech). Also, we were fortunate that the prevailing winds were from the south, so no nasty smells from the cattle feedlots north of town. We can only hope it stays that way.
